Rural Studios is a recording studio located in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The recording studio looks out onto rolling fields and there is not a road in sight. It's a location that truly inspires all that record, produce and compose music here.
The recording studio itself is a row of old stables and it still retains a lot of the old characteristics (check out the gallery). Although, the horses have long departed and been replaced with state-of-the-art recording facilities.
Rural Studios is an affordable recording studio, specialising in recording, production and mastering music of all styles. We also produce and compose a wide array of music and audio for film, TV, theatre, multimedia and the web.
We have a wide range of high quality microphones and pro-audio recording gear to cater for all recording and production situations, from voiceover artists to classical ensembles, from pop to heavy rock. Whatever your recording needs are, we will do everything to make sure they are met. We want to create an environment that will suit everyone, from solo artists to bands and ensembles.
Our current recording rates are:
Recording: £18p/h
Mixing and Mastering: £18p/h
Full day (based on 10 hours): £170
Two full days (20 hours recording time): £320
Five full days (50 hours recording time): £750
We have a dedicated sound designer and composer, producing music for web, adverts, TV, film, radio, games, multi-media and more.
